Thank you for your interest in joining the Texas Academic Advising Network (TEXAAN). Before you begin your membership application, please review the information below about TEXAAN membership.


TEXAAN membership is open to individuals whose interests are in the area of academic advising. Members of TEXAAN include:

  • Academic Advisors
  • Counselors
  • Faculty Members
  • Administrators
  • Others in higher education in the state of Texas



Members must be in good standing to be eligible for all the benefits listed below. Good standing is defined as paying dues for the current membership cycle and having no outstanding balances to TEXAAN. Members receive:

  • Voting privileges
  • Eligible to run for leadership positions
  • Networking opportunities
  • Sharing of professional resources
  • Newsletters
  • Professional awards program
  • Affiliation with a professional state organization
  • Affiliation with a professional national organization (NACADA)


Membership Cycle

The annual membership cycle is January 1st to December 31st.


Membership Dues

Membership dues are $25.00. Payments can be made via PayPal, check or purchase order. Complete the membership application before preceding to payment options. An invoice will be emailed to you within two weeks of your application submission. After payment is received we will email you a receipt. TEXAAN membership is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you plan to pay with a purchase order you need to verify your institution's vendor status.

Membership Application

Become a member of TEXAAN by completing the membership application.

After you submit your application, you will see a confirmation statement and receive a confirmation email indicating your application was successfully submitted. Please remain patient as it may take a few minutes, do not try to repeat submission.
