FIRST-TIME ATTENDEE SESSION.  The session is facilitated by the President and President Elect and will provide first-time conference attendees with information about TEXAAN, how to get involved, and how to get the most out of the conference. 

OPENING CEREMONY.  The ceremony will include the official welcome to the conference from the Conference Coordinators, the President’s Address, introduction of the TEXAAN Executive Board, recognition of special guests, and presentation of the TEXAAN Awards.  Dinner will be served.

CONCURRENT SESSIONS.  A variety of concurrent sessions will be available for attendees to choose from in the following formats: 60-minute Sessions (Areas of: Research, Trends & Issues, and Assessed Institutional Initiative); 45-minute Session (Facilitated Discussions); & 30-minute Session (Interactive).

NETWORKING & LUNCH.  Lunch will be served.  There will be opportunities to network. 

REGION MEETINGS.  TEXAAN is comprised of six (6) regions that represent institutions in different geographic locations in Texas.  Regions consist of: Central, East, North, South, South East, and West.  The regions are designed to foster professional relationships between institutions.  They are led by their Regional Chair(s).  You are encouraged to attend and get involved.  For more information about your region, click here.

TEXAAN ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING.  The business meeting will include reviewing the annual report, & discussion of TEXAAN business.  Included in your conference registration is a one-year 2018 TEXAAN membership which grants you access to certain benefits such as voting privileges and eligibility to run for leadership positions.  For a full list of your TEXAAN membership benefits, click here.

CLOSING CEREMONY.  Join us for brunch as we conclude the conference.  We will also introduce the 2018-2019 TEXAAN Executive Board as well as present the winner of the Best in TEXAAN Award.
