TEXAAN is currently accepting nominations for our monthly Membership Recognition Program.

Our Membership Recognition Program honors one TEXAAN member once a month who is making a significant contribution to the improvement of academic advising within higher education in Texas. This differs from the Annual Awards. The Membership Recognition Program seeks to:

• Express appreciation to improve advisor morale
• Recognize outstanding advising initiatives across Texas
• Encourage advisor recognition more frequently
• Improve advising services for students and share ideas

• TEXAAN website recognition
• Email inclusion to current membership
• Recognition posted to all TEXAAN social media platforms

 Nominee Criteria

• Nominee must be a TEXAAN member
• Nominees can only receive this acknowledgment once during the academic year (Academic year begins August 1 and ends July 31)
• Current members of the TEXAAN Executive Board are not eligible for this award

Nomination and Award Selection Process

• All nominations are due on the 15^th of every month
• Nominations can be submitted by completing the Membership Recognition Nomination form
• The Membership Recognition Committee will review and select one nominee each month
• The award recipient will be highlighted on the First Monday of the month
