At TEXAAN, we aim to empower and support graduate students in their academic pursuits while fostering their professional growth by offering scholarships of $250 to student members pursuing graduate education at the Master's, Ph.D., or Ed.D. levels. These scholarships typically aim to alleviate financial burdens associated with tuition, fees, and other educational expenses.
First-Time Participation & Travel Scholarship
Nomination Guidelines & Details:
- Scholarship is only available to first time participants for the TEXAAN Annual Conference (does not include regional events).
- In order to apply for the scholarship, you will need to provide a letter from your supervisor or institution confirming that if you are chosen for the scholarship you will be funded to participate and travel to the conference.
- If you are self-paying for the conference, you will need to, instead, submit a letter explaining this and any additional details you would like to provide.
- 40 registration scholarship applicants will be chosen and from those, a selection of hotel scholarships will also be granted.

TEXAAN GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
Nomination Guidelines:
- Self-nominations are accepted.
- Verification of enrollment required
- Current members of the TEXAAN Executive Board are not eligible for consideration until after the member’s term of office is over.
- Paper copies of the nomination form and/or support documentation will not be accepted.
- Documentation sent separately from the submission will not be considered. All documentation must be uploaded to the online Nomination Form.
- Nominations that do not follow the submission instructions will not be evaluated.
- TEXAAN membership is not required to be nominated.
